How Seal Coating Protects Your Pavement

Slows oxidation: Seal Coating protects the surface and fills surface voids, reducing
the pavement's exposure to oxygen and water, and extending pavement life.

Protects against ultraviolet rays: The sun's rays break down the links between carbons in the asphalt, causing the pavement to crumble. Regularly applied seal coat prevents these rays from penetrating the pavement

Resists oil and gas spills: Asphalt sealers usually include additives that enable them
to resist such spills. Sealer made of refined coal tar is not usually resistant to
gasoline and oil spills. By filling surface voids sealcoating reduces the depth to which oil or gas can penetrate the pavement.
